On June 9, 2025, the People's Government of Hanyuan County and the American International Industrial Investment Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as "the Chamber of Commerce") held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony at the China regional headquarters of the American Yuemin Group. Both sides focus on the international development of the fruit industry in Hanyuan County and carry out in-depth cooperation, aiming to jointly build a supply chain system for the Southeast Asian market and help the brands of characteristic fruits such as Huangguo tangerines and apples step onto the global stage. Sun Ruize, Vice County Head of Hanyuan County People's Government Mr. Kang Yoo-kyun, the president of the General Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of the American Yuemin Group, attended the ceremony and jointly signed the agreement.
For a long time, the General Chamber of Commerce and Yuemin Group have fully leveraged their international layout with branches in 25 countries and regions around the world, as well as their rich experience in long-term international agricultural product import and export trade. Its second-level subsidiary, Zhongyuan Lianchuang International Trade Co., LTD., has established a mature network for the import and export of bulk agricultural and sideline products in regions such as North and South America, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Europe, and has achieved remarkable results in the field of fruit international trade. At the signing ceremony, President Kang Yoo-kyun emphasized: "The Chamber of Commerce and the Yuemin Group will take the fruit planting areas such as Hanyuan apples as the key planting bases of the group and strengthen the full-process control through measures such as standard empowerment." At the same time, it is pointed out that the ecological quality of Hanyuan fruits is highly consistent with the market demands in Southeast Asia. In the future, relying on the supply chain integration capabilities, a full-chain channel from the planting end to the consumption end will be opened up. At the same time, a strict quality control system and market dynamic feedback mechanism will be established to safeguard the internationalization process of Hanyuan fruits. Hanyuan county deputy county ChangSunRuiZe said the cooperation is an important opportunity hanyuan agricultural integration into the global industrial chain. Taking the signing of the agreement as an opportunity, Hanyuan County will fully leverage the government's function of overall coordination. On the one hand, it will organize farmers to upgrade the entire process of planting, processing and packaging in line with international standards, and establish a quality traceability system from the field to the dining table. On the other hand, we should strengthen policy support and industrial supervision, build consensus on development through publicity and mobilization, supervise the relevant work of state-owned agricultural platform companies and safeguard the rights and interests of farmers, so as to create a stable and orderly development environment for the internationalization of the industry.
This signing is not only a key breakthrough in the outward-oriented development of Hanyuan's agriculture, but also a vivid practice of the county's economy integrating into the "Belt and Road" initiative. Through the cooperation model of "government guidance + enterprise operation + market-driven", both sides will achieve complementary resources - the Chamber of Commerce will provide support in terms of channels, standards, etc., while the government will strengthen public services and industrial supervision, jointly enhancing the international competitiveness of Hanyuan fruits. It is learned that the first batch of standardized fruits is expected to be exported to Southeast Asia through the channels of the General Chamber of Commerce in the 2025 production season, which is expected to increase the income of thousands of fruit farmers and inject industrial impetus into rural revitalization. In the future, both sides will also explore deeper production and sales integration models such as "cross-border e-commerce + overseas warehouses" and "customized planting + direct procurement and direct supply", promoting Hanyuan's leap from a "regional characteristic production area" to an "internationally renowned brand".
