On July 21, 2025 (Brazilian time), Leo Jiang , the president of the American International Chamber of Commerce for Industrial Investment (hereinafter referred to as the Chamber) and the chairman of the American Yuemin Group (hereinafter referred to as Yuemin Group), led a delegation to Sao Paulo for an important business visit, continuously expanding the trade cooperation map of agricultural products and food between China and Brazil.
At 11 a.m. on that day, Yuemin Group was invited to officially visit the Sao Paulo Chamber of Commerce. Under the witness of Consular and International Affairs Coordinator Ricardo, Yuemin Group signed a strategic cooperation intention letter with the Chamber of Commerce. Both sides had in-depth discussions on issues such as the connection of agricultural product supply chains, the construction of bilateral trade mechanisms, logistics coordination and two-way investment, and reached multiple consensations. During the signing ceremony, Yuemin Group also detailedly introduced the group's strategic procurement layout in South America and the global supply chain coordination plan to the chamber of commerce, and submitted the specific procurement demand list for the near future. The Sao Paulo Chamber of Commerce stated that it will actively assist in connecting with relevant local resources to promote the implementation of practical business cooperation.
Mr. Leo Jiang, the chairman of Yuemin Group, stated at the signing ceremony that the group will take Sao Paulo as an important procurement and distribution hub in South America, and focus on expanding the import channels of products such as poultry, pork, and soybeans to meet the rapidly growing market demand in China and Southeast Asia. At the same time, the situation of the American International Industrial Investment Chamber of Commerce both globally and in China was introduced to the Sao Paulo Chamber of Commerce, and a warm and sincere invitation was extended to the delegation of the Sao Paulo Chamber of Commerce to visit the headquarters in China for an on-site visit, to fully understand the procurement network and industrial planning of Yuemin Group in the Chinese and Asian markets, and to help promote precise matching and efficient cooperation between Chinese and Brazilian enterprises.
At 3 p.m. on the same day, the delegation of Yuemin Group was invited to the headquarters of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), where they had in-depth exchanges with the association's director Estevao Carvalho and manager Gabriel, among others. ABPA is the core organization of Brazil's protein industry. Its members cover approximately 90% of the country's poultry and 85% of its pork exports. Its products are sold to over 150 countries around the world and it enjoys a strong international influence.
The association stated that it will give priority to assisting Yuemin Group in connecting with high-quality meat producers that have the qualification to export to Asian countries such as China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Singapore, and provide a list of manufacturers that have not yet obtained export licenses but have a strong willingness to cooperate. Both sides also discussed issues such as green breeding, food safety standards, and brand co-construction, and reached a preliminary consensus on a long-term cooperation mechanism. In addition, the association has officially invited Yuemin Group to participate in the largest poultry industry expo in South America, which will be held from August 4th to 6th, 2026.
At the meeting, Leo Jiang, the chairman of Yuemin Group, emphasized that the group looks forward to establishing a multi-level and sustainable strategic cooperative relationship with ABPA. He once again sincerely invited the senior management of the association and representatives of member units to visit the group's China headquarters to personally understand the consumption structure, policy trends and purchasing demands of the Chinese market, providing clearer and more practical support for future cooperation.
